2008 Calendar

Points Championship

This year we will be holding a points championship for all horse and rider combinations who take part in our competitions.

Points will be awarded as follows:

1st place 		10 points
2nd place		 9points
3rd place		 8points
4th place		 7points
5th place 		 6 points
6th place		 5points
7th place		 4points
8th place		 3points

All unplaced cross-country clear rounds 1 point

An additional 3 points will be awarded for any combinations who manage to attend all four of this years competitions

Prizes for the championship will be announced at a later date

HELP WANTED

WOULD YOU LIKE A FUN DAY OUT - WITH LUNCH AND FRIENDLY BANTER?

We are looking for all sorts of helpers for our competitions!
Absolutely no experience required-we will feed you , look after you and you get the best view on the course!!!!

All volunteers this year will be given a voucher for a free schooling round as an additional thank you

2006 saw the introduction of official Pony Racing training here at Deer Park.  Trainers came from Newmarket to host the training sessions and the children all had great fun on the ½ mile round sand gallops.

Our last event of the 2006 season was an extremely successful Hunter Trial with classes from Junior to Open and over 150 entries. Here are a few of our competitors in action.
